A Bit of Country in New Paltz Village for <$200,000
Kandy Harris | July 23, 2014From the “Good Things Come in Small Packages” File: A 1930s cottage in the village of New Paltz, tucked away down a residential street, footsteps from Main Street and the Trailways bus terminal. The house is around 1,200 square feet and the lot size is a postage stamp size of .16 acres, but somehow they managed to squeeze in a koi pond and a backyard deck into it. There’s nothing we don’t like about the interior, from the bay window in the living room to the little hints of exposed brick to the abundance of natural light throughout. The price is decent, but this is the village of New Paltz we’re talking about here, folks, so the property taxes are high.
