Bloomingburg Brick Bargain, $95,000
Kandy Harris | December 5, 2014Oh, you were hoping for a five-figure property in the Woodstock/Bearsville area? Sorry, no can do. So we went looking elsewhere for a cheapie, and we think we found on in Bloomingburg, a teensy hamlet in the Ulster County town of Rosendale. Lots of pros and cons happening in our heads as we peek into this brick house. Apparently, it’s been recently renovated, but it still needs some sprucing up. Meanwhile, we aren’t huge fans of lamenate floors. On the other hand, there are actually wood floors on the second floor, and we really like them. We also like the eyebrow windows. But the lot is smaller than a postage stamp. And so on and so forth. What do you think? Could you do something with it? Word of Caution: Watch that first step off the back door. It’s a doozy.
