Cape Cod in Warwick, $479,000

  |  April 18, 2012

Do we have to show pictures of the inside? Not there’s anything wrong with the interior. It’s nice enough. We are just more enamored by the outside landscaping, pond, and gardens on the 8.5 acres upon which this Cape Cod sits. And the gates, stone walls, and tower, too.

Alas, we must leave the tranquility of the outside and explore the inside. Like we said, it’s nice: Hardwood floors, big kitchen, open floor plan, double-sided fireplace. House is currently a 2-bedroom, but the listing says it could be converted to allow for more rooms.

We aren’t nuts about the dark brown walls in the living room. Maybe it’s just the picture quality, but it makes it look kind of drab. It certainly is bright and cheery on the outside, though.

GMAP has it looking pretty darn secluded and back a bit from Buttermilk Falls Road. About 5 miles from the Warwick village center, and it’s fairly close to Greenwood Lake. Sadly, it doesn’t appear that Buttermilk Falls Road leads to a waterfall called Buttermilk. We assumed it wouldn’t, but we always like to double check these things, just in case.
