We’ve written about homes in Warwick on more than one occasion but this town never gets old. You know those towns that were made for autumn that you see in every Halloween-themed movie? Well Warwick is one of them. People wave to one another and call each other by name as orange, red and yellow leaves fall on the sidewalk and crumble beneath their feet. Children get lost in an endless cycle of piling leaves and jumping in them, giggling all the while. Okay, we know its winter and maybe its this wave of bitter cold that has us wishing for autumn or maybe its the miles of apple orchards and farmer’s markets that surround Warwick but no matter the reason, it is a town that was meant for autumn and we fall in love all over again every time we look at it.

Each home in the neighborhood is different but charming in its own respect and full of character that comes from years of history. This clean lined cape cod is a perfect example. The mix of raw wood and grey-blue siding modernizes the exterior of the home and gives the necessary curb appeal to survive in a town like Warwick. The arched entry way has us wide-eyed and drooling.

Come on in and get a look at that fireplace. The white painted brick gives the home such a clean look and the raw wood mantle compliments it so well. Joanna Gaines would be impressed. (Fixer Upper anyone?)  Let us set the scene for you. Position an oversized tufted arm chair near that fireplace and cozy up with your fuzziest socks and a steaming cup of tea. Bake apple pies and pumpkin muffins to perfume your gorgeous kitchen or wrap up in a blanket and sit on your rustic front porch as you wave to your neighbors in true Warwick fashion.

This 3 bed 2 bath home is just a short hop, skip and a jump to the village where there is so much to do. Get the best Thanksgiving eggrolls you’ll ever have at Fetch on Main St, and maybe even adopt a pup while you’re there. For just $5, head on over to the Warwick Valley Winery to taste a variety of wines and spirits. For these, and so many other reasons, this charming New England looking town is definitely at the top of our Orange County list.
