Car-Free Country House: Beacon Victorian, $199,000
Kandy Harris | May 8, 2013
Admittedly, we like the outside of this house more than the inside. Don’t get us wrong; we appreciate that it’s been renovated, and the kitchen appears to be where the majority of the renovations went, but the pictures don’t tell much of a story. Or, if the pictures are telling a story, it’s that the living room is incredibly tiny and the bedrooms need to be spruced up. But again, the exterior is eye-catching. It’s located less than two miles from the Beacon Metro North station, which might be a bit far on foot, but you can cab it home. And, it’s walking/biking distance to plenty in the city of Beacon, including restaurants and parks.
