Car-Free Country House: New Paltz Tri-Level, $325,000

  |  October 3, 2012

The thing about this cute three story in the village of New Paltz is that, even though it’s not huge (less than 1400 square feet), it’s tall skinniness lends a sense of size to the tiny backyard. The landscaping is nice, too, and the location is ideal: Just a mile from either Trailways bus stations in New Paltz, and the village is easy to get around in on foot. Plus, the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail is right across the street. Includes built-ins, fireplace, upper deck that looks out onto the stone patio area, and a small screened-in porch. Do we have any beefs? Not particularly. Maybe the light fixtures. Also, is there a way to brighten up the kitchen a little?
