Car-Free Country House: Woodstock Tudor, $269,000
Kandy Harris | August 7, 2013All this talk of sleeping on screened-in porches has sent us down an Internet property search rabbit hole for, you guessed it, more screened-in porches. Here’s a screened-in porch with a cute 1950s Tudor attached to it right in the heart of Woodstock, about a mile from the Trailways bus station and close to all sorts of stuff in town. We are not fans of chain-link fencing, so if this were our house, it would be the first thing to go, but we are fans of living stream-side on a half-acre proximal enough to amenities that we could leave our car parked. And yes, we would sleep on the porch in the summer, naturally. Wonder if you can hear the stream burbling as you drift off. Now THAT would be heaven.
