Carmel Colonial on Palmer Lake, $295,000
Kandy Harris | March 30, 2012This is a good package deal for the price: Completely reasonable at $155/square foot, close to Palmer Lake and the Hill and Dale Country Club and all recreational opportunities therein, and some appealing landscaping. Our favorite part, though, is off the back patio area:
It’s got its own wee pond! Which is fun and educational in the spring time! If you’ve never experienced having your own personal frog pond on your property, well, there’s really no delicate way to put this, but you can expect to witness some frog mating activities that might be considered less than G-rated. Aside from that, it’s tranquil. The big deck surrounding it makes it look like a good place to entertain, too. And depending on how many frogs show up, it could be very entertaining, indeed.
Okay, enough Discovery Channel talk. Other features include a big, cedar-lined walk-in closet in the master bedroom, and a walk-in shower and bath. Plus, there’s a greenhouse off the family room, which you can kind of see peeking out in the second picture below.
