House description:
If you’re anything like me, the phrase “1920s” paired with a photo of a gorgeous farmhouse in the Catskills is enough to get you chomping at the bit for a weekend away. This four bedroom red beauty is only 7 minutes from downtown Phoenicia where, if you’ve been keeping tabs on Upstater, you’ll know that this weekend is hosting the Phoenicia Art Tour. The athletically inclined and adventurous have available the more strenuous option of a hike through the Catskills. Diamond Notch Falls is in Lanesville and is rated “difficult”, so don’t forget a pair of sturdy hiking boots and plenty of water. Or, there is always the possibility to head downtown where, to quote the hostess of this house, “Dining options abound in super-duper hip Phoenicia”. Unfortunately, the listing on AirBnB has no reviews but, if you do go, don’t forget to post and help out your fellow weekenders.
Book it here!
