Catskill Mountains A-Frame On the Market for Under $100K

Oh, how we do love an A-frame cottage, and this one is darn cute. It’s also small with less than 1000 square feet and two bedrooms, but if you’re looking for a lake rights cottage in the western Catskills within 2.5 hours of NYC, this might be the one.

Clarification: “Lake rights” is different from “lakefront.” Many lake communities, such as the one situated around Mohican Lake where this cottage is located, offer properties that give members access to the lake, but the property itself might not be right on the lake. To learn more about the Mohican Lake community, read this. Suffice it to say, this isn’t a quiet, private lake, but it’s great if you’re looking for a lake community, emphasis on the “community” part.

This cottage is seasonal and needs a heating system to make it a year-round residence. Interior is neat and clean with laminate floors, French doors, and fenced lot. Situated on the western side of Mohican Lake.
