Catskill Village Victorian, $249,900
Kandy Harris | March 11, 2014
This painted lady on Main Street is practically expensive at $249,900 by Catskill village standards. Tucked away in one of the many cute residential areas in the village, the house has been renovated both inside and out. While the listing touts river views (both the river and the Catskill Creek are, indeed, very close by), we can’t quite pick out where those views would be. We’re willing to give it the benefit of the doubt though, because this house is awesome (love the two-story balcony, the stained glass window in the front door, the updated kitchen, the wood floors, the porch, just about everything that’s visible). Lot size is less than a quarter-acre, and the taxes are refreshingly reasonable (we’ll see that quite a bit in Catskill).

Beds: 5
Baths: 3.5
Square Feet: 2,450
Lot Size: .19 acres
Taxes: $2,800
