Celebrate Woodstock for the 43rd Time

The Bethel Woods Center, the site of the Woodstock concert and now a performance venue and museum, is holding a series of events to celebrate the 43rd anniversary of the event.

Activities include:

1960s Costume Contest:  Dress like it’s 1969! Visitors in costume can register to win prizes, including a pair of tickets to see Judy Collins in the Event Gallery on Saturday, December 15.

Woodstock: Three Days of Peace & Music Screening:  For the first time on the big screen in the Event Gallery, with full concert sound, the Academy Award-winning 1970 documentary, Woodstock: Three Days of Peace & Musicwill be continuously running during museum hours, free with museum admission.
Wait, you guys know that Woodstock didn’t take place in Woodstock, right?
