I’ll Be Looking at the Moon….

Doesn’t a moonlit walk under a blanket of stars sound like a perfect summer Friday night adventure? Well, get out your flashlight, grab a friend, and head over to the Binnewater kiln parking lot in Rosendale (GMAP) tomorrow night, June 27, at 8:30pm. There, Tom Rankin from the Wallkill Valley Land Trust will take you for a starry stroll down the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail and over the Rosendale trestle for an unobstructed view of the night sky. The Mid-Hudson Astronomical Association will provide telescopes for a closer celestial look. The event $5 for members of the Wallkill Valley Land Trust and $10 for non-members. Pre-registration required. We hear the rail trail looks great in the daylight, too.
