Listen to October’s Chronogram Conversations: Kingston NY Edition
Kandy Harris | December 12, 2017Things are cooking in Kingston. Economic development was the topic of the day during Chronogram Conversations held aboard the Pennsy 399 on October 17th, 2017.
Chronogram’s Editorial Director Brian K. Mahoney moderated a panel of community leaders, who kicked off the discussion. The topic was “New Paradigms in Economic Development: How our past can inform our future.” The SS Columbia partnered with Chronogram to sponsor the talk.
Following the lively discussion, attendees joined in with questions and comments, furthering the dialogue. Discussions revolved around thoughtful economic development of the Ulster County city of Kingston, including capitalization on food, tourism, green tech, and the creative economy, among a myriad other topics.
