Cold Spring Village Victorian, $459,000
Kandy Harris | August 12, 2013This is what constitutes “modest” and “reasonably priced” in Cold Spring; a 1,500 square foot Victorian with a lot size of .05 of an acre for nearly a half a million. It’s cute, and the location can’t be beat, but this is typical for the town in terms of pricing. You can find cheaper properties (most of them located outside the village), but there aren’t many, and if you truly want a bargain in Cold Spring, the best place to start is with the foreclosures. Still, this house is sweet, and we could sit on the porch for hours and watch the world go by. The yard is small, but it works and is private enough, thanks to some strategically-placed greenery.
