Contemporary Chalet-Style House in Gardiner, $625,000
Kandy Harris | August 8, 2012
There’s a lot we love about this house, which, according to the listing, is a naturopath’s home-based practice. The interior is amazing with lots of curved and wide-open spaces, tons of natural light from windows almost too numerous to count. The land is pretty spectacular, too. There’s a huge garden, plus a pond, and thoughtful landscaping. What we’re not nuts about is based purely on personal preference, and it’s the exterior chalet-style design. That’s it. And again, it’s just one of those subjective things. We agree to disagree, right?
The house is located about 5 miles from Gardiner and 11 miles from New Paltz. It’s next door neighbors to the Whitecliff Winery, as well as Tuthilltown Spirits, so you’ll always know where to get your next beverage.
