For our final property of the week in Cairo, we had a lot to choose from: More cheapies, some farmhouses, investment properties, multi-family units. But ultimately, we chose to go with a Goldilocks house. It’s reasonably, priced, new, on 2 acres, well-landscaped, spacious inside (2500 square feet, 3 beds/2 baths plus an additional room that could be converted into an additional bedroom), tidy, and located on a cul-de-sac. No need to renovate, repaint, plant, construct, or redo. It’s a safe bet. Or, in the immortal words of Goldilocks, juuuuust right.
