This is just the kind of place we would be eye-balling if we were serious wine enthusiasts looking to settle down close to Hudson Valley wine country. In fact, Robibero Winery, Adair Winery, Whitecliff, and Tuthilltown Distillery are all nearby.
But we don’t dig this town of Gardiner (Ulster County, just outside of New Paltz) abode just for its location. The interior has a soothing Minimalist feel with rich details like wood floors and a big picture windows to bring it some warmth. We also love the kitchen with mix of stainless steel (easy to clean) and wood, as well as the exterior deck and lily pond.
Wine is nearby, yes, but so is Minnewaska State Park, Mohonk Preserve, Shawagunk Ridge, and Sam’s Point. So much hiking. So much wine. So little time.
