Are you an experienced cook or have worked front-of-house/back-of-house in restaurants? Interested in moving to the Catskills? The time is now. Two Catskill Mountain-based restaurants are looking for staff…and both offer the possibility of housing. Thanks, Craigslist!
Table on Ten in Bloomville, Delaware County is looking for a FOH/BOH to work from Friday-Sunday, around 24hrs total, with housing included. The position, according to the Craigslist ad, involves managing many tasks, from taking orders, making espresso drinks, prepping, cooking, bussing, and everything else in between. Pays $10/hour plus tips.
Meanwhile, in the Greene County village of Hunter (Hunter Mountain is there), Scribner’s Catskill Lodge is looking for a cook for their in-house restaurant Prospect, run by Executive Chef Joseph Buenconsejo. Cooks will be whipping up “Alpine inspired food,” says the Craigslist ad, “with ingredients sourced from the Hudson Valley and local mountain region.” Housing offered to candidates willing to take the plunge. Is it you? Apply within.
