Creekside Farmhouse in Jeffersonville, $229,000
Kandy Harris | June 4, 2013This house was our Rental of the Week back in March 2012, and it’s still a rental, according to the website. It also holds the distinction as being the oldest house in Jeffersonville. We adore its modern touches combined with old-school charm. The kitchen looks like a place we could hang out in all the live-long day; that is, when we’re not out the nearby swimming holes. The price is decent, the taxes are low, and it’s located right in the heart of the village. Problems? According to one of our readers who considered buying it years ago, the house has suffered some water damage conceivably resulting from the creek rising during heavy rains. Always something to consider when you choose to live near a water body that floods.
