Could you do it? Could you pare your life down to 500 square feet and just over a quarter acre of land? If you’re the type of person who is given to attempt such pursuits and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves, this Tiny House in the northern Catskills looks promising.
The clear selling point of this one bedroom cottage is the sitting/sleeping room with two sets of sliding glass doors, but the interior is rough with exposed plywood walls and floors. Think of it as a blank canvas, an opportunity to express yourself through tiny home design. Maybe learn how to build murphy bed. Haven’t you always wanted to do that?
As for the location, this is way north and west in Delaware County, so it’s a place for outdoors enthusiasts. Hunting, fishing, and hiking, all represented in this area just north of Cannonsville Reservoir. Get good winter tires. You’re going to need them up here. And probably a generator, too, just to be on the safe side.
