Cute Peekskill Colonial Across the Street from a Park, $295,000
Kandy Harris | March 21, 2016
If we had kids and were looking in Peekskill city for a place to settle down, we’d be giving this 3 bed/2 bath home a second glance. Not only is the house convenient to the Metro-North station (about a mile away), but it’s situated across the street from what looks like a decent-sized playground and park. Kinda makes up for the fact that the lot size is minuscule, right? Certainly, we’d be taking the toddlers there to blow off steam on a near-daily basis.
The house has a fresh coat of pain, hardwood floors, new granite kitchen countertops, and even more space in the walk-up attic to add to its 1400 square foot size. Located near Peekskill center, but a quick jaunt across the Hudson puts you squarely in Bear Mountain Park, which is where you want to be if you’re looking for stunning views of the valley.
