German Alps Festival

LivingSocial has a special this week: $17 gets you entrance to  the German Alps Festival (August 11 and 12),  a beer or soda, a knockwurst, and a ride on the Summer Skyride — otherwise known as a Hunter Mountain chairlift during winter months.

If you’re more the Irish than German, you can pay $19 for one ticket to the International Celtic Festival (August 18 and 19), with the same booze and brats goodies.
