Fitches Bridge is a charming covered bridge located on the west branch of the Delaware River off State Highway 10, and this delightful 950-square-foot cottage is tucked right into a little spot between the bridge and the Delaware County Historical Society. It’s a great spot, and one of things that caught our eye was the back patio on the Delaware River, with a view of the covered bridge itself. We envision many BBQs with Tiki torches illuminating the surroundings while fireflies dart to and fro amongst the bushes. Are we romanticizing it? Sure, but if we can’t romanticize a house near a covered bridge, what can we romanticize?
