Ditch the Car for a Saugerties Brick Georgian
Kandy Harris | July 9, 2014We’ve come to know this house well given that it’s our neighbor, which means we’ve spent many a moment walking by and drooling over this beauty (sorry, neighbors). The interior is just as lovely as the exterior, bright and sunny with cool wood floors with inlaid detailing. But the aspects we find most appealing are the detached studio/guest space and the landscaping and layout of the yard. It’s on less than a quarter of an acre (typical for village living), but the use of space makes it seem larger than it really is. Lots of places to make a garden bed and little nooks in which to hide. Located around the corner from the village UCAT bus stop and walking distance to the local health food store, lots of restaurants, the elementary school, and more. It’s a decent price, but look out for those village taxes. Yowza.
