Part of what makes the Hudson Valley so great is the region’s combination of creativity and forward-thinking and an old-fashioned connection to nature and the land. High Meadow School in Stone Ridge takes that Hudson Valley spirit and infuses it into every aspect of their curriculum.

Students pre-school through 8th grade have access to High Meadow’s 9 acre campus, rich with exploration opportunities among its pond, bird sanctuary, gardens, and a student-constructed play village situated among the trees. Inside the classroom, students receive a solid foundation in the basics of science, social students, language arts, mathematics, as well as a sense of wonder about the world, preparing them for a life-long love of learning.

Additionally, High Meadow places a strong emphasis on the arts, providing rich programs in the visual arts, drama, dance and music. If this sounds like the right kind of learning environment for your children, High Meadow School invites you to attend an open house on Sunday, October 18, 10am-1pm, at 3643 Main Street, Stone Ridge. Explore the campus, meet the faculty and staff, and find out how High Meadow School is the cure for the Common Core.
