Ellenville Contemporary, $220,000
Kandy Harris | June 13, 2012
The obvious eye-catching feature of this house is that it’s got a huge octagonal living room with a gigantic cylindrical marble fire place right in the middle of it, surrounded by windows. Which is pretty cool. We also kind of begrudgingly like the kitchen. Even though it’s top-to-bottom in that dark wood that we usually scorn, somehow it works in this interesting mid-century modern. It’s got a great stone patio, and it’s located on the fringes of the village on a little more than a half-acre lot. Plus, the laundry room’s got a chute! Nifty!
