Esopus Colonial, $225,000
Kandy Harris | May 11, 2012We looked at a lot of fancy-schmancy houses in the town of Esopus this week. It was great discovering these fabulous properties in an area we’d sort of overlooked before. But now, as we bid a fond adieu to Esopus, we wanted to show something a little more in the “Goldilocks” range of properties: Reasonably priced, yet still lovely, with taxes that don’t blow the top of your head off. This nice, well-kept Colonial is not exactly waterfront, but it’s pretty close. And for $109/square feet, pretty close is close enough. Lot size isn’t huge, but if the photo above is to be believed, there’s definitely enough to meet yard criteria.
