Farmhouse in Stuyvesant, $199,000
Kandy Harris | August 17, 2012Stuyvesant has a thriving agricultural community, so it’s no wonder that most of the houses that we found on the market are farmhouses. And here’s another one. Smaller than yesterday’s farmhouse, but a whole lot more land (43 acres on this one), plus lots of the original details remain in tact, but it needs some work. The kitchen especially looks like it could use an overhaul. This one is next door neighbors to the colonial farmhouse we looked at yesterday, and it includes 1400 feet of lovely Kinderhook Creek frontage.
For some reason, we’re having a difficult time locating tax information on these properties on County Route 25 in Stuyvesant. The addresses given don’t seem to match anything we could find online. We’ll keep searching and update if we can.
