Five Figure Friday: Creekside Treehouse in Greene, $79,900
Kandy Harris | May 16, 2014
We’re not too familiar with the town of Greene, not to be confused with Greene County in the Hudson Valley. Greene is located in Chenango County, and while still technically west of the Finger Lakes, it’s a bit more west than we usually go. But this 434 square foot cottage on Genegantslet Creek certainly has our attention. The owner, J. Schatz, augmented the modern four-season abode with birdhouses and feeders of his own creation. Small? Yes. Cramped? It doesn’t seem so. How could you possibly feel cramped in the adult treehouse of your dreams? Located about 3.5 hours from NYC.
