Affordable and quite presentable, this cottage is close to the village of Jeffersonville in Sullivan County. What’s the catch? In our minds, it’s the lot size. It’s small for a country abode, only a bit over a quarter-acre. Still, the house is a decent size for the price, we like the enclosed porch, and the setting is pretty. The interior needs some updating, but for less than $70,000, that’s hardly a deal-breaker. Potential downside: The owner can’t leave until May of 2014.
