There are several five-figure properties in Valatie positively dripping with potential, making it tough to choose. There’s one located on Kinderhook Lake that needs tons of work but includes a couple of rowboats (listing here). There’s one cute Victorian in great shape with a view of the falls (listing here). Ultimately, we chose this one because, while it needs work, some has already been done, and the price is so attractive for what you’re getting, we couldn’t pass it up. From the pictures, it appears that the kitchen needs the most work, but pictures can be deceiving. Listing states that it could be eligible for a $203,000 home improvement loan. Can you imagine what you could do to this place with 203K? A whole lotta fancy, we wager.
