Five-Figure Friday: Woodridge Octagonal Cottage, $69,900

It’s different, and we like that in a house. An octagonal shape lends itself well to a big wrap-around deck, and we’re glad to see one here. The interior is funky and retro, complete with spiral staircase, but the shag green carpeting would definitely have to go. We found ourselves scratching our heads a bit over the circular tub. Would an actual-sized person fit in there without having to pull their knees up to their chest? We’re also curious about the location, since we don’t know much about the village of Woodridge, other than the fact that it’s located in Sullivan County, northeast of Monticello, Which is some pretty countryside. Sadly, the house isn’t on much land for being out in the woods, but still. It’s cool, unique, and dirt-cheap, the Holy Trinity of Five Figure Fridays.
