We last checked this place out in August of 2011, when it was for sale for $799,000, with different photographs than they have in the current listing (a change in brokers since then). It’s an  updated 1860 Colonial in Balmville, with river views, five acres, a caretaker cottage that serves as a rental property. Taxes are painful, in the $20,000 range. It had already been reduced $76,000 then, and it’s now $750,00.
