From the Forum: Banning Motorboats?

A reader has posted in the forum about her motorboat woes. She has a house on Masten Lake, up near Liberty, which allows motorboats. She’s concerned about the environmental impacts, but also safety, since youngsters seem to be operating those boats. The lake is private, she says. What can be done to regulate, or educate, or ban? Any advice?
