From the Forum: Five Safest Towns with Low Taxes?

Taxes are always the kicker with upstate properties — great prices on great houses, but then you find out it’s $20,000 a year in additional taxes. So this reader would like to find out which towns are safe, cool and affordable in the tax department, especially those between Pennsylvania and Newburgh. Anybody have suggesitons?
