This 19th century farmhouse in Gardiner is a BOGO deal (buy-one-get-one) since it comes with a detached two-story, three-car garage with a full apartment on the second floor. A full apartment, we might add, that we almost like better than the interior of the main house, mostly because the apartment has cathedral ceilings, beams, and skylights. But the main house is nice, too. We particularly like the kitchen (or its silhouette at least; the picture is dark), the bedrooms, and the formal dining room…minus the light fixtures. The fact that it’s located right on Albany Post Road might be a deterrent, but maybe the decent lot (2+ acres) and a seasonal stream will make up for it.
