Highland Farmhouse, $450,000
Kandy Harris | May 14, 2012This pretty farmhouse in Highland is fairly secluded, as it’s located on a dead-end road off of route 9W, and its proximity to the river is appealing. It’s also sitting on 6 acres, tennis court included.
We especially like the kitchen, which opens out onto the dining and sitting room area with windows all around. Lots of light! The kitchen also has marble counter tops and a 6-burner range.
The rest of the house is nice, too, as is the surrounding land. And doth our eyes deceive us, or does the master bath have one of those massive rainstorm shower heads that kind of just dump oodles of water on you while you stand there, blissed out? Probably not the most water-efficient design, but they’re fun, nonetheless.
