Historic Benjamin D. North House in Cooperstown, $450,000
Kandy Harris | January 14, 2013This is one of those great houses that made it difficult for us to choose which pictures to post. Seriously, this place looks amazing. If you’ve ever wanted to live where the kitchen includes a “larder”, this looks like it. Okay, we don’t know for sure if the kitchen has a larder, but we sure hope so.
The National Register of Historic Places says the Federal-style home, located approximately 15 minutes from Cooperstown village, was built between 1799 and 1802. It includes 3 fireplaces, a wine room with a stone floor, a stunning kitchen, tons of built-in shelves, a barn and additional outbuildings, and 17 acres. Whew! Let’s drool together, shall we?
