House Crush of the Week: A Catskill Country Cabin that Hits all Style Marks, $79,000
Kandy Harris | September 25, 2015This was going to be our introduction to a new series we’ve been thinking of creating called “Presented Without Commentary,” because we’re pretty sure this Livingston Manor cottage needs none. It’s understated perfection wrapped up in reclaimed wood, corrugated metal roof, wood stove warmth, and splashes of color. Consists of 1100 sq. ft., 2 beds/1 bath, screened-in porch, and an attic, making it a killer starter home possibility. We’re choosing to ignore the small lot size because, sometimes, it just doesn’t matter. What we’re more concerned about is the digging/construction project that appears to be going on essentially in the back yard, according to Google Maps. Located walking distance to the center of Livingston Manor, Sullivan County. Barring any massive downsides, and given the fact that the taxes are dirt-cheap (around $1400/year), we predict this house will be “pending” before the end of September.
38 Spring Street, Livingston Manor (RM Farm Real Estate)
