Kingston Gothic Church + Parsonage, $750,000
Upstater Staff | October 20, 2014This one of our favorite buildings in all of Kingston as well as one of our favorite churches in the Hudson Valley (from what we’ve seen). The inside is beautiful, and we love the parsonage that comes with it. Sometimes a good spot for a church isn’t necessarily a good spot for a residence, but this church doesn’t seem to suffer room that problem given that it’s in a mostly-residential neighborhood in Kingston’s Rondout district (still walking distance to the Strand restaurants, bars, and shops). So, what do you think? Private residence? Theater? Gallery? Recording studio? Restaurant? So many possibilities, even more so since it includes its own detached house.Located on Wurts Street across the street from lovely Cornell Park.
