Ladies and Gentlemen, May We Present…The Warehouse in Saugerties
Kandy Harris | July 2, 2015Saugerties just got a brand new weekend rental. Nestled down a narrow alleyway across from ‘Cue in the village of Saugerties, the Warehouse is a 800 square foot loft space inside of a 1930s Plumbers Union warehouse. Its industrial edges have been softened with naked wood and warm colors, but modern where it counts, and holy cow we want to slide across those floors in our socks. It’s a loft, so it’s one open space with a canopied bed, seating area, and kitchen. Saugerties is easy to navigate by bike, even with a lot of village construction happening right now, and it’s easy to get to the Saugerties Lighthouse trail (no bikes allowed on the actual trail) from the Warehouse’s location. If you come on the first Friday of the month, you can catch Saugerties First Friday events taking place all over the village. Close to the wine shop, lots of restaurants, yoga, book stores, designer clothing, ice cream, antiques…the list goes on. $175/night, 2 night min. Sleeps 4 total. More info here on AirBnB.com.
