Lakefront Cedar Cottage in Monticello, $295,000
Kandy Harris | June 8, 2012
We though we’d end Monticello Week where we started: With a smart, lakefront cottage. This one is a bit more expensive than the A-frame we looked at on Monday, but it’s also bigger, and while not exactly on the shores of Swinging Bridge Reservoir, the property does have lake rights. Interior-wise, we like the open floor plan, high ceilings, nice kitchen, and great bath (there’s only one). Property includes 1.31 acres and is right across from Twin Ponds. A bit pricy for Monticello at nearly $200/square foot, but lake front properties are desirable in Monticello, driving up real estate prices outside of the less expensive village.
