Quintessential Liberty NY Victorian Foreclosure in Need of Rehab, $48,500
Kandy Harris | November 6, 2017This Liberty NY Victorian foreclosure is just the type of property we expect to find amongst the Liberty listings: Once-gracious, desperately in need of rehab, complete with original details and oodles of potential.
The listing photo above doesn’t quite grasp how much the second story balcony of the 1890s Victorian is sagging, so here’s a more realistic view of that issue:
Regardless, we love a Victorian double decker front porch, so we can only imagine who it would look once someone fixes it…and we’re keeping our fingers crossed that the balcony is salvageable. Also salvageable are lots of interior features like the wood floors, bay windows, window/door trim, two fireplaces, parlor, and stained glass windows.
The kitchen needs The Works. We also see peeling paint inside and out, and the baths are outdated. However, this 1400+ square foot four-bedroom antique could be a sight for sore eyes once it’s been given the renovation it so richly deserves. In the meantime, scroll down for more of what’s in store for this Liberty NY Victorian foreclosure.
