For the Smith Coutis, who took over as the 3rd-generation owners of Atlantic Custom Homes in early 2019, this was the next step in their careers they had been looking for. After meeting in New York City, the couple relocated to Westchester. While renovating their house, they developed their passion for home design and architecture into a home renovation business. Working in this industry taught them the ins and outs of construction. Add to that Jennifer’s background in interior design and both of their corporate backgrounds in consulting and project management, and they felt they had the right combination to continue the successful trajectory of the dealership. Finding Atlantic Custom Homes at that time was “serendipitous,” Jennifer remarks.

As Atlantic Custom Homes’s newest owners, the Smith Coutis are eager to keep building on the reputation the company has developed since 1987 that, as Jennifer says, “delivers the home of our clients’ dreams with a focus on cost transparency.
