Livestock! Music Festival 2017 Mooooves into Bovina Saturday, August 26th

  |  August 25, 2017

Summer’s still here for another week or two, so there’s time to catch one last outdoor music festival before the leaves start to fall. Livestock! Music Festival in Bovina Center, Delaware County is perfect for Americana music-lovers looking for live music with a side of neighborhood block party and BBQ. The two-day event takes place at the Finn Family Farm, 124 Bob Hall Road, Bovina Center.

The first band plays at 2pm on Saturday, August 26th and the party ends well after midnight with the final band playing at 11pm. Music is spread out over three stages at the farm: The Barn, The Orchard, and the Ampitheater. Don’t expect Woodstock when you get there; this is a family-friendly event with food, drinks, and free camping if you decide to spend the night (wise choice is you’re enjoying some of those beverages).

Livestock! started as a small party in 2003 with 60 attendees and has since grown to draw hundreds every year. This year’s Livestock! headliner is singer/songwriter Robbie Fulks, whom the Chicago Tribune describes thusly: “…a masterly, multifaceted songwriter who can belt out hip-shaking honky tonk, honeydew pop and chilling little ballads with an unrivaled skill and spirit. So good, he’s scary.”
