Does it get much better than Tivoli? The Dutchess County riverfront village is packed with charm, a couple of good restaurants, and some pretty houses, like this loft-like cottage. Not only does it have a big porch for dining and entertaining al fresco, it also has its own grape arbor. Fancy! Inside, details like exposed beams and stained glass windows make it look cute, but no pictures of the kitchen or bath (we assume they’re okay). Situated on 13 acres near the Hudson and less than a mile to the center of the village. By the way, why doesn’t Tivoli have a train station? Metro North passes right through. Can someone get on that, please? We want to be able to walk from the train station to our grape arbors, after all.
