Meticulously-Maintained Federal Center Hall Colonial in Stately Cortlandt Manor, $895,000

Earlier, we showed you this Beacon 1880s beauty in need of an update. Here’s one even older, c.1795, and it’s been kept in great condition with all of its original charm in tact. Like its Beacon counterpart, this home as lots of space with 3400+ square feet, four beds, and three full baths.

But what this home has that the Beacon brick doesn’t is a large parcel of land to go with it. Over six acres, in fact, with a much more private country setting versus right off the main drag in Beacon. There’s still an elementary school right across the street, just in case you have some sort of aversion to school buses (trochophobia) or the color yellow (xanthophobia).

The current owners have kept this place in mint condition, or so it would seem from the photos, with lovely details like living room and dining room fireplaces, arched entryways, crown moldings, hard wood floors, and large windows.

Out back, there’s a cabana and in-ground pool. Does that seal the deal or what?

Located in Cortlandt Manor, ten minutes east of Peekskill and about an hour from NYC. The Cortlandt Manor station is about a mile from the front door of this house.
