More Bang for Your Buck in Stamford, $165,000
Kandy Harris | March 23, 2015We could spend a whole week in Stamford, and we have. The Delaware County village north of Roxbury always seems to have a vein of gold running through it, and the current market is no exception. Submitted for your approval: A Victorian Colonial complete with large stone fire place, latticework detailing, antique kitchen appliances, wood floors, and built-in shelves. It’s situated on a half-acre near the heart of the village, walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the local wine store, which is obviously a top priority. It’s a gorgeous village home for a great price. Some might argue that it’s too far north, too deep into the Catskills, but in actuality, it’s less than 3 hours from Manhattan.
