Mortgage Rates Up…But Not in NY
Upstater | January 31, 2013Bad news for those who are hesitating about buying a home: mortgage rates are inching up, according to Zillow.
But just when we were feeling glum about it, we found that rates are actually down in New York. “Zillow Mortgage Marketplace’s current mortgage rates in New York for 30-year fixed-rate mortgages dropped 2 basis points from 3.50% to 3.48%… New York mortgage rates today are 3 basis points lower than the national average of 3.51%.”
Now back to house-shopping.
